Charles Alonge draws inspiration from a myriad of sources, including nature, personal experiences, and cultural influences. “After a successful career in medical equipment sales, I traded the boardroom for the backcountry. Now based in Boise, Idaho, I spend my days exploring the rugged landscapes of the Northwest, translating the region’s raw beauty onto canvas. My work is a love letter to my new home—capturing everything from the crystalline flow of trout streams to the silent majesty of mountain ranges and the quiet drama of wildlife in its natural habitat.

While my subject matter shifts with the seasons and the light, my goal remains constant: to bring a moment of serenity and a smile to the viewer. I paint to preserve the snippets of Idaho that take my breath away, and I am honored to share that feeling with you. A former member of the Delray Art League in Florida, my earlier works still hang proudly in the homes of old neighbors; today, I am thrilled to be adding new pieces to the walls of clients here in the Gem State.”
